Here is how I make the "handles" on a shipper. I do that when shipping by fedex now also. I figure it may help keep the people from tossing it around as much if they have something to pick it up by.

Awesome man! Hope you have a good time. If I were around I would love to hang out and buy you a round somewhere, alas I'm dragging the family down the shore today.

Im surprised you havent been told not to do that by Fedex yet. After I had started using duct tape for trades, I was finally told not to do that anymore. I guess duct tape gets caught on their sorters and can damage the package or rip it open. They also said that when people do bring in duct tape boxes, they tape over them with clear packing tape. This may not be the case for all stores though.

I usually go around the duct tape with a layer of packing tape to keep the duct tape from ripping. Not sure if that matters or not. They haven't told me to take it off yet though.

I know people complain about ORD, but that seems to mostly be people making connections there, and ATL is no picnic for that either.

EPIC. Rolling bottle share with stops at breweries along the way. A friend of mine did an annual brew bus tour around to local breweries and I brought along some Dark Lords and Baller Stouts for the ride.

    Weenie.

O nice. It took about five boxes with duct tape that i brought in for them to finally say something. If you tape over it i doubt they will say anything since thats what they would have done anyway.

The Tröegs taproom is awesome FWIW. If this bottle share goes down in PA, I'm in. :mug:

That picture looks very similar to what I did coming back from Chicago last time. I packed up as much as I could in a New Glarus case then packed the whole thing in my suitcase with clothes all around it tight enough where there was zero movement when shaken. I used blankets for the top and bottom since those would get the most abuse. My wife didn't see me pack it and laughed at me when we arrived home and I pulled the entire case out of the suitcase. I'm always extremely nervous when I ship a package out, but I've never been more nervous about losing beer than that whole flight home.

Duct tape is bad. It draws unwanted attention. I know, I see boxes a few times a week getting extra pairs of eyes on it.

    The taproom itself is great.

I would imagine there is almost zero percent chance that they would allow a bottle share in there though.

PA beer laws are pretty crazy. The best bet would be finding a byob restaurant or something probably.

Only update I've got is 1. Please include some damn homebrew (DC's were great) and 2. Feel free to send suggestions. Digging sours and barrel aged goodies. Bonus points for fruited sours, Brett beers, and rum ba beers.

    Cheers!

I never really thought I would grant in this maw, so I'm not even sure what to ask for.

So any maw worthy sours, brett, barrel aged

I would take some time and think about what you really want to try. Some people may have different ideas of MAW worthy beers than you do. I am sure you will get some good stuff either way, but there has to be a few you really want to try..

    This.

I've been blown away with what I've received on here, but open ended could potentially leave you a little disappointed. It's really tough to grant on here anymore, so definitely take advantage of your opportunity while you can!
