I've got a couple left and there's one store around here that still had a couple last weekend. If it's still on the shelf it's a shelf beer. I really should go get the rest of them

I'm making a Brett Saison and about to rake to secondary for the extended aging with the Brett (5-6 months). Do you guys think I should add oak cubes too? I'm thinking yes... :mug:

Yeah oak plus Brett is usually great just make it a subtle flavor don't go too crazy. I usually just throw a few cubes soaked in whiskey or rum in for the aging.

haha, I haven't had anything from them, but I hear good things! I guess we'll have to see how I stack up! One of the only Brett Saisons I've had is the Boulevard one, but holy crap was that amazing. The moment I tried it I decided I had to try to make one. I brewed 10 gallons of saison and fermented half with WLP585 and half with Belle Saison dry yeast to try them out. I'm going to take 2 gallons of each, blend them and add some Brett Clauss and, i guess, the oz or 2 of cubes i've got. :) should be interesting!

yes it is! I didnt get into craft beer until last year and did not know about it until after it wasnt available anymore.

unfortunately, the special release smoke stacks like that one dont last long around here. I have never seen one here once I knew about it. I may be getting one in a trade next month though :D

Boulevard's Saison Brett is probably my favorite beer they make. Unfortunately it won't be released until June.

I'm not a big glassware guy but I do really like the Teku glasses. I usually use Willie Belchers for pint glasses and 4oz brandy snifters for tasting.

I have a FFF teku but kind of feel like a pretentious a**hole when I use it when other people are around. I typically stick to rastal snifters and my DFH IPA glass

And shortly after hitting send, I learn that my wife broke my Bruery tulip I received in a trade. As usual, my favorite piece of glass. Onto my second Chimay goblet, first of which was broken by my mother in law. I should start drinking out if a dog bowl. Those never break.

I like beer served out of a bird feeder, but only if it was made by slutty nuns from the Appalachian mountains.
