A couple weeks ago I was able to get my hands on two cans of the great Heady Topper. It was so good I had to save some of it to attempt to cultivate some yeast and try to reproduce a similar flavor (I've read it has a lot to do with this beer's taste. Anyone have any luck with this, any good clones?)
I was a little worried about not using the "leftover" beer immediately in a starter, but today -day 3- it really took off. It's looking and smelling great. I'm excited to find a good clone to try, but I feel like any citrus IPA would benefit from this yeast.
