Cheaper brew kettle than MegaPot?

    The Bayou Classic. I like mine, but they are not much cheaper than the Megapots if not the same price. Mine has the spigot, steaming basket (for BIAB), and stamped volume marking vs the etched ones on the Megapots.


    If it were me, I would get this pot which is essentially the same as mine without the markings, spigot, or basket.

    Then just get a step bit, a ball valve, then etch your own volume markings after you read this thread.

    Bayou Classic 10G is a bit less. Comes with everything installed and includes a false bottom, bazooka screen and a heat shield for propane burners.
