Cheap Keg Lube?

I found this stuff at Home Depot. It doesn't say the words "food safe", but it does say...

"Meets or exceeds the requirements of FDA regulation 21. NSF 61 approved. No chemical contamination to drinking water"

The real stuff is super cheap and lasts forever. I wouldn't bother with anything else.

KY works as well and is safe to ingest...

 

I had a tough time finding something local, so I started checking out the big box stores.

Would personal lubricants work the same? They are definitely safe to ingest... lol

 

Yes, it's silicone grease and works great. I prefer it to petroleum-based products (i.e., Keg Lube, etc.).

If so pressed, you can also use it in the bedroom since it won't attack latex. Kids, don't try that with Keg Lube!
