So I just found a way to effortlessly (almost) way to remove bottle labels. They labels just slide right off and you wipe off the adhesive with a paper towel.

4 gallons of hot water in a 5 gallon bucket
    2 cups baking soda
    Soak bottles for 30-45 minutes

About half of the bottles I do, the adhesive will still be there. But that's nothing Goof Off or Zippo lighter fluid won't take care of!!

    Terrible.

How about: 4 gallons hot water, 1 scoop (generic) oxyclean. Wait overnight. The lables will be floating in the morning, and no goo to scrub down with oily nastiness.
