    Has anyone done a beer using cereal.

    Cornflakes,
    Rice Crispies,
    Cherrios,
    Etc...

    You should be able to find a good number of brews on here using cereal with the search function.

    There have even been a few using solely cereals (using a grape nut base since it is malted barley).

    Cornflakes and different flaked/puffed wheat cereals are a common adjunct used if the are cheaper than their lhbs equivalent as well.

    There is a thread lurking somewhere in the depths of homebrewtalk...or reddit..that was a grocery store brewing challenge. Basically people had to design a recipe using only things they could source from their grocery store. I can't remember the title of the thread, but if you look hard enough you can find it.

    I remember seeing lucky charms stout recipe kit at my local brew shop years ago, so I guess it's not such an obscure idea.
