Going to cape cod in a couple of weeks and was wondering if there were any brewery's or good brew pubs to visit?

I was just there. You will see Cape Cod beer co everywhere. Beer is okay, but their company is pretty cool. I think they do tours on Saturdays, but you can stop in for a tasting anytime.
If you get to Plymouth check out mayflower. We didn't make it to the brewery, but all the beer I had was excellent. There is Off Shore on Martha's Vineyard, which is a brewpub. Nantucket brewing on Nantucket.
You can also find a ton of Mass breweries in the package stores. Every one we visited was pretty well stocked.
Liam Maguire's (sp?) was a good pub with a nice selection, as well. It was in Falmouth, I think. There is also a chain of pubs called Brittish Beer Company that all have good selections, as well.

    :off:

OP did you have to pay the guy 5 bucks to get that "Huge Ass Beers To Go" pic?

The dude let my wife hold it for a pic, but we had to give him 5 bucks. :tank:

and...FYI, it's Cisco Brewing on Nantucket, but yup all those places listed above are about right.

Find a Luke's, they have great selection of bottles. Must restaurants I went to all seem to have what they call there own brew but it was a trick, it was the same beer brewed by Sam Adams just with own tap handle design and different name

If you are taking the family, I would also recommend catching a Cape Cod League Baseball game. Free to go, and you get to see some future stars.

Many of the restaurant beers we saw were brewed by Harpoon, as well. We didn't try any of them though.

West port brewery does several amazing beers. They contract so blatant and pretty little things is out of there. Check out the new world tavern in Plymouth for one of the best craft bars around. And I second lukes liquors for selection, I could spend a paycheck in there

Like others have said you will see Cape Cod beer everywhere, I thought their IPA was pretty good. I was even able to get a growler of it in a liquor/beer store, wish you could get it off the Cape. If you miss a tour of the brewery you really are not missing much. It's a small operation in a warehouse and the tour consists of standing in the warehouse while they talk about the beer making process while giving out samples. I was there in the off season and the tour was fairly packed, probably would have been better to visit while a tour was not going on.

They were very nice people at the brewery and even went out of their way to accommodate us and our 1 year old son.
