BYO Customer Service?

    I have had a subscription to BYO for a while now, I really enjoy the magazine myself. On Monday I got a slip in the mail to renew and get 2 subscriptions for the price of 1, which I talked over with a home brew buddy and we were going to split the cost. Cant go wrong with that right...

    So I log onto their website Monday afternoon to the renew site provided on the slip, fill it all out and I cant get past select payment type from the list, no matter what I select (Visa, Mastercard, Bill Me) I immediately get a website "Server Error in '/Sub' Application." error, whatever that means. I tried on Firefox, Chrome and IE and get the same error each time.

    I sent them a email request asking for help signing up for this, but have not gotten an response.

    So I have tried calling them several times a day for the last 4 days, and no one answers the phone.

    Whats up with them, is this typical?? I am trying to give them my money but they don't seem to want it.

    i just purchased my first subscription from them this week and ran into the same error. for me i just kept trying and eventually it worked. i think they are having a server problem. now i cant speak for the rest of there customer service, but for the online ordering i just kept trying till it went through.

    I called them last week I think and someone picked up after the first ring. . .called them before that and it was the same . . so hopefully not typical

    Strange. I didn't get 3 magazines in the mail that I should have. It was a gift subscription and knowing they don't mail every month, I wasn't sure of the schedule until I checked online and notice I had never received 3 of them. I sent an email off and got a response back right away confirming my mailing address. Then, a week later I got all 3 back issues.
