OK, made my Christmas Time Ale about 2 weeks ago, and it has been in the secondary for about 4 days. On the top of the beer, there are small groupings of bubbles. I just wanted to make sure that this was normal.. thanks

    Perfectly normal.

Actually, what's 'normal' is for people to freak out and think that those are spots of mold starting. :D

My Holiday Ale has been in the secondary for 3-4 days also; same bubbles. Nothing to worry about, just as I've heard before! :)

Yep. I even slammed the lid back down on the fermenter thinking that I had interupted the process and that all was lost. But, then I found this forum and Papazian. All was right with the world.
