Brown Ale Recipe?

    How does this recipe look?

    12 Gallon
    Grain
    22 lbs canadian two row
    2 lbs crystal
    1 lb brown
    1 lb chocolate
    hop pellets
    1 oz fuggles 60 minutes
    1 oz williamette 60 minutes
    1 oz cascade 30 minutes
    1 oz Northern brewer 15 minutes

    I would think about backing off the chocolate. IMO that would be too roasty for my taste in a brown.

    Maybe cut the chocolate to 8 oz and add 2 oz of Black Patent. What crystal are you using? I prefer C120L or Special B in Browns.

    I don`t have any black malt and the crystal is 110.Keep in mind it`s a 12 gallon recipe.
