Broken hydrometer

The wife shattered my hydrometer washing with it with hot water.I can't figure out the Hydrometer correction charts :-( My og was 1.085 and my current after 9 days is 1.041 at 72 degrees. Can somebody tell me my current ABV ??? Thanks in advance !!!!

 

Lots of calculators available for these types of things here. At 72F the correction is negligible so you would be sitting at 5.78% give or take.

Because you said your hydrometer was broken can I assume you mean refractometer corrections? 1.085 to 1.041 with a refractometer would be 9.72% ABV.

(1.041 seems awful high for a FG unless you are talking about the refractometer reading)

 

Yes woodlandbrew hydrometer is broken both readings were taken from a calibrated refractometer
