So I have recently just moved and now I have an entire shed to use as my brewery! I am working on a brew stand right now and have a really cheap option that can hold up to 1000 lbs. Somebody check me if I'm wrong.

    2 keggles and a spike 20 gallon. 150lbs
My biggest recipe uses 40 lbs of grains, (I usually only make 5 gallons of that at a time but just in case) let's say 50 if I make a 10 gallon barelywine ever

    20 gallons of water ( 8lbs a gallon but let's say 10) 200lbs
Control panel, some pumps, extra equipment, safe guess and extra 50 lbs.

    150+200+50+50= 450lbs

    Am I sane??

I've gained 20lbs since I started brewing. Not sure if that helps or not....

Close enough and if you are using the shelving I think you are you can safely push it to 1500 pounds. We had 2k pounds on a 4 foot section at work...

Of course we're sane. It's everyone else that doesn't get homebrewers that are crazy. The voices in my head say so.

Yup that's the stuff I was thinking of! We had 1500 pounds of casino slot machine glass on a 4' section!

Cant really see it in those pictures, but if you still have the particle board shelf inserts you might want to switch to 3/4" plywood or something a little more sturdy. I have the exact same shelves in my garage and those particle board shelves will bow over time. Or at least mine did with less weight than brewing equipment.

Yeah I have considered that, i need to get a 240v plug wired to the shed and I'll see how it goes after that

Pretty disappointed in the particle board. I spilt a lift bit of water on it from switching camlocks and it turned into a warped mess...which isn't surprising.

Going to replace with 3/4in plywood
