I'm new to home brewing so this may be just a common sense thing. If I want to brew the same beer more than once, are there any tricks to getting it to taste the same? I'm assuming just to record and track details (time, temp, dates....) and repeat over again. Any other tips for a beginner are more than welcome!

    Take incredibly detailed notes...

However, I have to tell you I use my notes more often for what not to do, than what to do.

Wow! A newbie who takes notes right off the bat! This ones off to a good start!

More seriously though; hitting correct volumes (meaning pre-measure your fermenter to make sure you get that five gallons), pitching the correct amounts of healthy yeast, maintaining consistent fermentation temps and sanitize, sanitize, sanitize.
