Brewers Best Milk Stout

    I am getting ready to brew this kit tomorrow.
    A friend of mine brewed this kit and thought it tasted a little bitter. Someone recommended he add some oatmeal. Is this a good idea?

    I would roll with the recipe and see how it turns out for you. I'm assuming it has lactose?

    Have you looked into the local water profile? That could shift the balance a little more on the bitter side.
