I have a tasty RIS that just finished fermenting. I have about 2 ounces of dark oak chips soaking in 2 cups of Bulleit Bourbon.

Thoughts on the amounts? If I dump the whole Jar into the secondary will I have Bourbon that tastes like a RIS or vice versa? Recommendations for a good ratio are most welcome.

KBS recipe usually calls for 1 cup of bourbon and .25 oz of oak chips/cubes in 5 gallons. It's subtle, but it's there.
