    Bottling tomorrow not sure how much corn sugar to use in 2.3 gallons of Scotch ale.

    Yeah both the beersmith and brewersfriend calcs have never failed me.

    I believe a scotch ale usually has between 1.5 - 2.2 for carbonation level. I may be wrong though.

    In the calculator just input your the amount of beer you’re bottling and the temp it was fermented at plus your desired carb level (your personal preference) and it will tell you how much you’ll need.

    Thanks for the replys, I will probably mix the amount for 5 gallons and then use half that amount. Should make it easier.
