So we finally made it. We open our doors today. Serving our first beers to the paying public. Our finishing touch to the bar is a copper drain that a local gutter company made for us. Thought you all would like it.

No we want to let it patina. We are going let it get grimy. At least on the outside. Then clear coat it.

Very cool, maybe you could find some copper to make taphandles from as well? Maybe even use copper pipe fittings?

    That's so sweet looking!

I'm planning a "steampunk" kegerator and may rip this idea off.

Hey, sorry we kept you there so late on Christmas Eve, The beers were excellent!

Keep in touch. Perhaps you will end up brewing with hops from my farm this fall. I will send up a bottle of the fresh batch of ale brewed with with Wild Thing hops from the farm (feral hops from a nearby farmstead) on Tuesday.

No problem I enjoyed having you guys there. I did not have plans anyway for the evening.

I look forward to tasting the wild hop beer. Sounds cool.
