    It should work just fine so long as its a tight fit and CO2 doesn't push it off the stopper hole. I'd guess most folks go in rather than over just due to the size of the tubing they commonly have on hand

    Thanks - went to the hardware store and picked up some 3/4" OD by 5/8" ID, and it seems to hold nicely.

    Anyone else?
