Last night I air locked 2 5 gallon batches of the same recipe. What I would like to do is fill up my 7.5 gallon keg and bottle the remaining 2.5 gallons. Is there anything special I need to do when I'm ready to keg like blend them together and then put in keg?

Maybe we don't understand the problem.

If it's actually the same recipe brewed the same on the same day, one would think a true blending - beyond the obvious need to top up your keg with half of one batch - would be unnecessary, not to mention a bit difficult to do without making an oxygenated mess out of everything.

Hence I would simply do a CO2 push to keg of one entire batch followed by half the second, and bottle the rest...

    Cheers!

Awesome! That was the lines along what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure.
