i just recently found out about kombucha and decided i would give it a try. first i thought about ordering pre bottled online but its way to expensive. i was wondering if anyone knew of a place online that sells high quality starter kits?

Do you know of anyone in your area that makes it?

You can source kits from yemoos.com, happyherbalist, culturesforhealth and oodles of them on eBay. If you have freecycle in your area you can likely find a scoby locally.

    Where are you located?

I'm a home brewer of beer; can I use my equipment? I recently had some kombacha from Whole Foods that I really enjoyed...
