Drinking multiple bottles of wine, alone, in bed, in your pajamas, with a bucket of Ben & Jerrys?

I remember Idiocracy. Might have to watch it again. I couldn't tell the first time if it was a crude attempt at humour, or an artfully designed commentary on our American political-social system.

The Carl's Jr. scene was awesome, though!

Try watching the HBO series "Deadwood" and drink along (& keep up ) with the characters...

Anything by the Marx Brothers! The movies are funny in their own right but take on a WHOLE new level when you're 'in that zone'.

I've also come to the realization that binge watching "Downton Abbey" from the beginning with the wife is a great time to drink......

I have great memories of drinking beer with my dad and my brother while watching 'The Ten Commandments' and riffing it MST style! Of course the more we drank the funnier it became. Ahhh, memories!

You make a good point. I'd say heavy drinking during any Julia Roberts movie is a great idea. It will help numb the pain. If it's Notting Hill, just start chugging 151 straight out of the bottle. If it's Pretty Woman, just kill yourself.

Guilty pleasure TV show, but only with a buzz - "Wicked Tuna". I just like seeing these guys & gals haul in 400-800 pound fish!

Not a movie but I laugh my ass off at Ridiculousness. Movie wise, Strange Brew is one that I love to watch while drinking.

:off: That just reminded me of when I was a college freshmen or sophomore and I had about 4 red bulls in about 90 minutes. I was so hyper I didn't need booze to act like an idiot.

What finally made me say enough with the energy drinks was when I drove to see my girlfriend (now wife) shortly after she got back from an internship abroad. I had been awake since 6am, worked on the farm all day, and then the drive to see her was around 6 hours and I didn't get started until midnight. I was so tired the last leg of the drive that I got a NOS and when I finally got out of the car and brought in my bag I was shaking and I couldn't sleep for an hour.

Back on topic. I've added watching Animal House with a bottle of mead to my list of things to do.

Thumbs up for that reference. Anyone remember Frankenhooker. Kind of like getting drunk for most movies! Movies and drinking are just made to go together.

How could I forget Major League?! Bull Durham right behind it.
Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Waterboy, and Big Daddy.
    Necessary Roughness.
For a real good laugh pound a few and then turn on Revenge of the Nerds. The clothes of the 80's are great.

Undeclared is also a really good show. I was always more of a Fraiser fan over Cheers, surprisingly.

Trust me - Nobody's watching Ocean's Eleven for Julia Roberts. Plus, if it's not the Sinatra version, it's not really Ocean's Eleven IMHO. :D

My friends record Ridiculousness and Tosh all week, then we get shirtfaced and binge watch them on Friday's after I get out of work. Tosh has a bit too much bs in it for my enjoyment, but Ridiculousness kills me. Most often it's Dyrdek's commentary that hits just right and I lose my ****.

That being said.. it's been a long ass time, but Jackass can throw me into a beer chugging stupid rage real quick too.

Any conspiracy theory "documentary". Particularly JFK ones. I *love* conspiracy theory movies and the best part is when you're drunk you don't get mad, you just laugh at how ridiculous some of the theories are. (though the one about the Secret Service agent who may have accidentally discharged his AR15 and hit JFK with the bullet is rather compelling, Ockham's Razor suggests this is rather plausible)

Any low budget horror movie works. Drink for a death, anytime someone drinks, and boobs. What's awesome is there's a ton of those movies on Netflix instant watch.
