I have a 5500 watt SS heating element that I would like to bend a little to facilitate installation of a second element.

So what is the best way to do this, is it difficult, problems, etc.??

    Thanks!

Where did you find a stainless steel heating element?

How much do you want to bend it?
If you just want to bend it to the side so that one from the opposite side will clear it then just grab hold and tweak it. If its screw in then it will have to be bent back enough to clear when you want to take it out or you can use one of those triclamp adapters. I have seen heatsticks made with the element bent all kind of ways.
