im doing my first belgian triple and need to add candi sugar. my LHBS said to just add it at the beginning of my 60min boil with all my extract. I have been reading that adding it last 5-15 min is the way to go. Also i have LME and DME should i add both at beginning of boil or half later towards end.

You're fine either way for both the sugar and the extract.

When I used LME and DME, I added them just after I got the water to boil. Some people like to add them later because 1) with a lower gravity boil, you get more AA extraction from the hops and 2) they felt that they got less of an "extract-twang". I resolved my extract twang issue by going using only DME and by partial mashing everything.

When I use candy sugar, I add it in the last 10 minutes.

Add the sugar towards the end of the boil or after primary fermentation is complete.
