I want to make a simple base recipe to learn more about every ingredient and start other recipes from there. I was thinking about something like a Belgian Pale Ale, and I made this:

    Est ABV: 5.1 %
    EE%: 65.00 %
    Batch: 1.32 gal
    OG 1051
    FG 1012

    2.425 lb Pilsner (2 Row) Bel (1.5 SRM) Grain 1 84.0 %
    0.309 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.9 SRM) Grain 2 10.7 %
    0.154 lb Amber Malt (25.4 SRM) Grain 3 5.3 %

Mash In at 152F for Medium Body and Bath Sparge

    Boiling for 90min

    0.32 oz Goldings, East Kent [4.70 %] - Boil 60.0 Hop 4 22.7 IBUs
    0.14 oz Goldings, East Kent [4.70 %] - Boil 5.0 Hop 5 2.0 IBUs

Fermenting at 64F~70F with Fermentis #S-33

I've never made a recipe before and have never tried something like this, but I know that I want a beer not so dry (mostly because the yeast doesn't allow, I only have S-33), with a good drinkability, with flavor from malt, aroma from malt and a little from hops and just a medium bittering from East Kent Goldings.

Please homebrewers, give me your opinion :)
