Sorry to hear about that glorious Porter ending up on the floor...are you okay though? No cuts from the glass? That's what I worry about while carrying my full carboy around. I really need to pick up either a handle, or one of those Carboy Haulers that are just straps that go underneath it and around your forearms. Good luck keeping the blog up!

 

Hey icedub, spend the $10 for an Autosiphon! I read a bit of your blog and from what I've read, mouth suctioning to start your primary --> secondary siphon is not a great idea. I can't tell you how nice it's been having that Autosiphon haha.

 

@ThirdGen Great call on the auto siphon. I actually went out and bought one the very next day, and it is a true joy to use. We actually bottled that batch yesterday- I tasted it and it didnt seem off, luckily.

 

eh, let's just say the hand is healing nicely... fortunately no stitches
