Beer taste very carbonated

    My 2nd brew was a Belgian witbier, I fermented for a week with a final 1.010fg I bottle for three weeks and just tried my first bottle it looks great very clear, had a good witbier smell but taste like it's over carbonated, now looking back I do believe I over primed I put right st 6oz where I got that information I don't know but I read in a few places that it was good to add extra priming sugar for a witbier. It was kept at steady temp of 69. What can I do to save beer. It pours out good not a lot of foam liked I wanted but can anyone help

    Not too much you can do now. It's overprimed, but you won't have bottle bombs so it is an inconvenience but not unsafe.

    I don't believe that carbonation is a taste.

    Like drinking a fountain drink but the soda has ran out, so there is nothing I can do, I've read done forums talking about popping the caps for 30 mins then recapping them for a week

    ^Perfect head right there. If you want it slightly less carbonated, simply let it sit in the glass for a bit before drinking. The CO2 will come out of solution and dissipate into the atmosphere, making it less "prickly."

    Give it a more vigorous pour in a larger glass (or pour in half in the glass above). You'll have to wait a bit for the head to die down, or you can use the nose grease trick (I don't recommend this if you're pouring for someone else). Should taste a little less bubbly.
