Beer forum

Anyone else ever accidentally go to beer forum .com and mistake it for hbt? Its a pretty close copy, only thing there's no good content. I did about 5 searches with no results before realizing I was at the wrong place. Glad our search isnt broken like I was afraid of. Guess I should pay more attention to links I'm clicking.

 

I've done the same but with youporn .com

You'd be surprised how many matches "head retention" and "trub siphon" gets there, but I digress.

 

In announcements for a give away it takes you to beerforum.com, and the admin is TxBrew. was HBT hacked?

 

I don't know, but plex vector is a user over that that beerforum. Haha. There are a lot of the same usernames

 

Send the trolls.

 

I registered before asking back here. Probably will start getting spammed. I hope it is legit or beta for an HBT SW or server upgrade. I PM'd Austin and not heard anything yet.

It appears to be one of the domains owned by TxBrew/Austin along with aussiehomebrewer.com and various others.

 

Saw the give away announcement. Took a look. Have to register on a site for a give away open to all? Seems phishy.

 

It is an interesting site. Feels like another dimension... It appears to be part of the group builder umbrella. Or it has been spoofed pretty well.

I thought to research it, ask questions, etc to try an brew this one. Thought to call it "Hickok's Bane".
