Hi, I'm new here. I just found out that I'm allergic to barley. I have no problem with hops and whole wheat. I have tried several gluten free beers with sorghum and don't like any yet. Anybody got a recipe that I could try without sorghum and barley?

Have you looked into any rye beers? Though I've never used more than about 20% in any of my beers, I've heard of people brewing 100% rye recipes with success.

I should have mentioned in the first post I'm also allergic to rye.

You could try a 100% wheat beer, maybe some raspberries in secondary if that's your thing. A nice wit yeast would do great. I feel like James Spencer, host of Basic Brewing Radio, did this a while ago. Might want to look through the website to see or just go for it.

Definitely Brew-in-a-bag here, would probably be impossible to sparge regularly.
