Balancing my kegerator. Line size gauge question....

Im getting some foamy pours, and Im thinking of extending the beer lines in my kegerator to 10 feet. I snipped a 1 inch piece off of one of the lines for reference. I brought it to Lowes and it doesn't look like they have that exact tubing. Its a fairly small inner diameter, with a larger thicker walled outer diameter. Does the inner/outer diameter of the tubing actually matter? Also, is it ok to use the bulk/spooled vinyl tubing from Lowes?

I'd step up to accuflex bev-seal, many of us have and don't regret it. The barrier tubing has less resistance so you'll probably want 15-20+ feet per line. Check out Birdman:
