I know I'm not the only CAD guy out here... I'm looking for 3D cad models of brewing hardware so I don't have to model everything myself....kegs, burners, pumps, carboys, etc.

Anyone know of a good 3D CAD library that might have all of this already?

I see google sketchup has some stuff; I'm looking for .step, .igs, or native Pro/E or SolidWorks.

    Thanks!

Have you checked Solidworks' online design library? I think I remember seeing some stuff on there. Or maybe GrabCAD? I work in both Solidworks and Pro/E but have never really modeled any brewing equipment except for the grain mill I designed.

There was one or two threads on here that mentioned some brewing equipment models. I'll have to try and dig it up.

I generally use Solidworks when I design in 3D, but I don't have much as far as prebuilt models. Some of my models are basic in shape, just for fit purposes.

You might want to try revitcity.com, its all revit files (which is what I use to model) but it can be exported to sketchup. I can help you export it.

thanks guys. I found some step files in one of the old threads. I'm a Pro/E guy and in the planning stages of putting together my stand. When I do my build, I'll be sure to make models available.

    Check out grabcad.com

I've been using them for a few years. It's pretty good.
