Brewing in an apartment has me very limited on space. I purchased the stainless table seen in the photo to organize things a bit (not the best, after a frustrating brew day) and have been trying to figure out how to make this into my stand. I have a plate chiller, pump, and water filter I have been trying to attach but have not had any luck with struts do the weight of the items.

I am trying to make the stand as seamless as possible in order to help make my brew day more seamless/ decrease setup time. I am using a 15 gallon e-kettle I built (seen in photo) for my boil kettle, 45 quart coleman cooler mash tun (seen in a photo) and a 9 gallon SS HLT for my system and am batch sparging on my system.

Has anyone seen a table like this converted into a stand or possibly have some guidance on how to attach everything?

Any help and ideas is greatly appreciated! cheers

I moved from a house to an apartment, and if there's one thing I can say is keep an open mind. Think about little stands that fit in the big stand or in this case table. If your just looking to attach a few things you can use perforated angle iron, pre drill the whole and run Zip screws in. When I brew I move the couch way forward so the brewery takes up most of the living room, then after clean up I push the couch back. I've found things that roll help, and I don't jack the floors up.

Any pictures to recommend taking a look at?

I have a piece of slotted angle iron and just have to get around to seeing exactly how to place it but my time to work on my stand has been limited. Looking for some possible design ideas that have worked with others.

I donated a corner of the living room to the brewery. My plate chiller is not mounted to the stand at this point. I keep it in a dish tub like the busboy use in restaurants, for quick unhooking of lines filled with wort and water. I have two book cases that store brew stuff, that lets me store things high.

I had a motorised grain mill, and it sucked to break it down and use the drill, but their just wasn't space for it and now the mill can fit on a bookshelf. One thing to also think about is getting a good vent system, the bigger the better.

What kind of vent system do you recommend? I just had a bunch of fans leading everything out the window and the kitchen fan on high.

If you have a system that works great. I use a 8"inline fan that really sucks, I have a speed controler that I can slow it down with. But again if it works don't fix it or don't break it (how ever the saying goes?).
