Using the same leaf hops for aroma and for a sort of 'dry hopping' in the primary?

I just went for it and I'm hoping no one tells me I ruined my brew, ha ha.

You will get an amount of dry hopping ability out of them but it will vary depending on how long you boiled for aroma. The prime amount of boiling for aroma is I believe 7 minutes. So any less then that and your cutting into aroma but adding to dry hopping I would imagine.

Yeah I think I boiled 10 minutes for aroma. The only reason I'm even trying it is because I accidentally used all my leaf hops for aroma...I had intended to save some to dry hop later.

Yeah 10 is a little long for aroma. Thats pushing the end range for flavor, like what you would put in a hop rounded IPA. But you will have some aroma out of that. Doubt you will get much of a dry hopping aspect out of that though

The aroma oils that dry hopping puts into beer boil out in seconds. You haven't ruined you beer, but you might need to get more hops. Wait until you've racked it to decide.

You will not get much aroma out of 10 minutes of boiling and personally I have my doubts about dry hopping in the primary. I would imagine that the carbon dioxide created during fermentation would drive off much of the aroma.

i have never reused hops in this order, but i have used hops that were dry hopping my IPA for my bittering hops in another brew. Came out just fine. I did use about 20% more hops than normal to compensate, but seems to have worked very well.
