I'm wondering if coopers beer is a better brew or this stuff.

We do not see these in the uk but they do look like they are based on coopers kits a bit, I would think they are decent enough but would benefit from a few add ons in the brew....

I did the red. Pretty basic, nothing extraordinarily good or bad. Weather turned strange and my "cooler" area got to 24C or more so it's pretty estery. Definitely keep it under 19C, especially if they still come with cooper's yeast.

Ferment it around 19°?? Or store it at that after? Totally new to brewing

The best fermentation temp depends on the yeast strain, but most ales ferment well in the 17-20 C range. Bear in mind that the beer in the fermenter will warm up a few degrees above ambient as it ferments. If it ferments too hot it will produce fusel alcohols and estery off-flavors.

Wow.. I've got lots to learn. I fermented my dark ale beside the fridge. Quite warm there. I'll be bottling it in a few days.

Now that I know I can ferment that low, I will place in a slightly cooler area.
