Your mind is as sharp as a knife in the dark
Fortunately someone so inviting is doing the guiding
Now let us see what the others think of this fuddle

    A book is the answer
Is Your dog also named Prancer?

    I ask her her age
    and she quoted a sage
My age today is three times what it will be three years from now minus three times what my age was three years ago. How old is she?

    X = age today

I'll use the normal order of operations, i..e, multiplication takes precedence over addition/subtraction...

    3(x+3) - 3(X-3) -> 3X + 9 - 3X +9 -> 18

The answer me thinks as I sit here at work
    I don't think you think it's considered a perk
If lightning it is as it strikes you down
I've answered the riddle? Otherwise a frown.

I cut through evil like a double edged sword,
I'm honest and fair, please take my word
    And chaos flees at my approach;
This trait is someting you don't want to broach
    Balance I single-handedly up raise,
I am what's right, and I am not praise.
Battles fought with heart and mind,
Are not relevant in the days of mine

    My best guess
    Is justice
Though I feel it's not right
    But either way
    "emjay's right," you'll say
    Or prepare for a fight

    Hahaha.. fight with Emjay?
    No way!
But it could be some fun
But not like sitting in the sun
No my dear man let me say
The riddle I changed it a bit from the orginal
Wrote it up different my sin's forgivable

But yes you certainly got it right
Hopefully "Justice" will live onto the night.

The first beer I drank many years ago
Felt I could fly like a bird don't you know
Now you tell me I'll be a bit smarter
With a glass of beer I'll sign this charter

You'd be amazed how many people are not aware! I love most of their stuff, and I wish they did more tours over here. They haven't really toured the west coast as far as I know. Jenny is a personal fav. I love the plot development ;)

I was having a talk with my son one day
He's a good young man seeking life his own way
The air was nice and temperature calm
And we were camping; it was just before dawn

I'm sure you have once been up then
It's the coolest time in the day ahead
Man, it was a really nice time
Just spending time with my boy child

He asked me a question as children often do
And left me sitting in thought upon my camp stool

"Dad, I ask what would you do?
Here is a puzzle my mind's going through
Or would it be better if I just just masked it?
And not make your mind attempt to task it."

Well of course you all no what I said
Bring on your question son or in life I am dead

    So from my son's mouth
    Came a riddle no doubt.

    "X" burns at 451 farenheight
And about this I wish I weren't right
Because for me I thought more it would fight
Before it glowed in the day or night."

So that is my riddle today. I'm looking forward to what others say. This thread is pretty fast and I doubt before my head hits the pillow. Somebody will answer this thread... and think it's too mellow.

Your son is in high school? Hope he's not a furry
But most teens these days know the book by Bradbury
And many adults, but no need to worry
I won't spoil it for others, as I'm in no hurry
Though this homebrew is making my vision quite blurry
Have I said too much? That's up to a jury
But for the time being, to my bedroom I scurry
And after I pleasure myself in a flurry
I'll dream of sugarplum breads, and sugarplum-curry
And sugarplum threads, locked by señor Yuri

Hmm Emjay.. maybe we're on the same paper today.

Or maybe i just got in a hurry.

Trying to fool you is an almighty worry.

    Sleep tight into this night.

In the moring all things will be bright.

When I pick up a newspaper tomorrow morn

I'll think of your response, give a cheers; and sing up a storm

Man your mind is perfectly clear. I'll lift up a beer and to your brilliance I'll cheer!

    Grats!

Don't worry about that my wayword son
With out you here this threads not much fun
So put your mind to work now
It's not like you are behind an old cow

I do give some worth to an accountant's hands jerk
He puts pencil to paper and it's much mind's work.

    Truly that last stance
Was to make you pee in your pants
    And nothing to do
With what I have to asked

Don't try to find in my stupid rhymes
an answer that will easily make up your mind.

Break it down, that isn't the answer for shure
Better You writes notes on a paper
For that is of course the cure.

PS.. I'd never get this riddle put this way to me. I need it written down on paper to analyze it.
