Messed up my brew routine today and added my LME to the pot immediately after steeping my specialty grains. Took 20 minutes to achieve a rolling boil. Anyone know what the affect would be of adding the LME before boiling instead of adding upon boiling?

Slightly darker beer due to the LME getting extra carmelized during the boil. Nothing will be hurt.
