    Current..

    • Les Baer 1 1/2" bullseye pistol with a Ultra Dot sight.
    • Les Baer 1 1/2" bullseye pistol with open sights.
    • Kimber Team Match II with a Marvel Unit I upper and Ultra Dot sight.

    Past.....

    • Smith and Wesson
    • Springfield Armory
    • Colt

It's an obsession not unlike home brew.

    No, home brew is worse.

Actually it's neighbors kids, and brothers who had first crack at it and did not want it/weren't interested in it, before I said I would buy it if he chose to sell it.

I have liked pistols for a long time, and prefer pistols made of blued steel and walnut in particular.
1911 Colts, Large Frame S&W revolvers, Browning Hi-Powers do it for me.

The first one is something old... a Colt 1911 circa 1918 vintage.

Next is something new... Springfield Armory 1911A1 Loaded.

Shoot em' both, but usually just reduced velocity target loads in the Colt.

Very nice. I think I'll change my thumb safety and slide stop back to the blued finish. ..it's a little too much I think.
