I just bottled a pale ale, our final gravity was at 1.020, it wouldn't drop any more. It wasn't what we were looking for, but as far as I am concerned it came out great. Good color, Flavor, and aroma, even with the slight concerns throughout the process. Which I thank those who assured us in the process. :mug: Also I will add it was our first All Grain brew, and third brew too. First was an all extract, second was a partial grain brew. So we like to get our hands dirty. I plan to brew constantly in the future to come. It will always be a fun adventure to see how things turn out in the end. :rockin:

Maybe your temp was a little high for the mash which created an excess of unfermentables explaining the high TG. Just have a little more body thats all.

That could be the situation especially when our mash temp was a little higher than we wanted. It was close to 160 degrees ferinheit. Thanks for the advice I'll keep that i mind next time. :mug:

That'll do it. Also, make starters for your yeast, and be sure to watch temperatures during fermentation. If it got too low, it could have stalled.
