If I decided to split a batch up into two seperate batches all together. If I decided to do two boils at two seperate times and split the batch to 2.5 gallons would I essensially just split the ingredients down the middle?? So if it required 6 pounts of chocolate malt I drop it to 3 and split it in half??

Whatever calls for 6 pounds of Chocolate malt should be thrown out the window.

Yes on splitting the ingredients. I am guessing you want to do this on 2 different days as you could simply split the wort pre-boil if not.

I was using that as an example. ! :drunk:

Ok thats what I thought cause I'm gonna brew a small batch. Also what should I do about the yeast?? Could I just split that in half somehow too??

Yeah you can split the yeast by eyeball. Probably easier to do with dry yeast or a starter.
