I have a ton of this overproof rum.. it's awfully strong and pretty flavorless (clear). Would it be safe to use it in the airlock?? I normally use cheap vodka but I want to be rid of this stuff and since it's like 80 proof or something I figured it would work. I normally don't get suck back.. and if a teaspoon of rum gets in there oh well, right?? I always use a blowoff tube the first week so it won't be any kind of fermentation issue (suck back and kill the yeast). What do you guys think??

The alcohol is to keep it sanitary, so it'd work fine.
