I am currently ordering the title kit from AHS. Looks pretty good but I have a question maybe you guys can answer. I always create a starter for higher gravity beers and am going to make one for this kit. I use light DME for my starter and then pitch the whole 1000ml into the fermenter. My question is should I use the light DME for this brew or a darker DME? I know there will be alot of flavor here and wont be a to much of a delicate beer but I dont want to ruin any of the flavors... Thanks!
