Ace Specialty rinse tank for fermenter

Has anyone used one of these tanks as a fermentation vessel?

Do you think they would work alright? I'm looking to buy a small conical fermenter and these Might fit the bill.

I think they'd be alright - looking at one myself - the ball lock valve is what could cost some jing

 

Small ball valve shouldn't cost too much. Was thinking of getting the 2.5 gallon tanks. I'd make a stand that holds both back to back in my fermentation fridge . That would allow me to still do small batches or split a larger one between the two tanks.
