    you know, I saw it before I posted, but posted anyway :)

    are there other books out there that covers this topic or others that you all would recommend?

    Listen to the BeerSmith podcast from this week - has Denny Conn discussing the topic of recipe design. He mentions a few books including Designing Great Beers (though notes it is getting outdated due to new malt choices), Brewing Classic Stylers, and a couple others I can't recall.
