The food pairings are worth the price of admission.

Sea roaches, all of 'em. No thanks. Those that like it can have all of mine.

    :)

So, I got my mash going about 30 minutes ago. 2.75G of water in a 4G pot with 7.5 pounds of grain is right about the maximum I can get in there. I can stir it, but have to be careful or it will slop over the side. Another quart of water & I couldn't touch it without spilling. Heh.

Oh yeah, just got back from the store, because brewing beer = drinking beer. Found a mauraded sixer of Sculpin (NEVER seen that at this store before) so one went into my mix-six pack. I guess pics of beers tonight, anyway. But later.

Those are great, I was rolling after I saw this one.

OK, just enough time to pop a beer before having to start draining, sparging, & squeezing the bag.

    Giggity.

    lol nice.

    INTELLECTUAL CHIHUAHUA SAISON

A wasted lemon-banana hazelnut Saison with hints of baby and kumquat balanced by scornful sugar cube notes. Claude U. from beerkidney.com rated it a 2 out of 5 calling it, '...A hungrily headless beer'.

Back in the day, my wife would rig the cards so you never went backwards.

We would split into two piles, one for the kids, and one for the adults. Kids pile had all the double colors and the 'bonus' spaces (gumdrop, candy cane, etc), stacked so they couldn't go backwards. I think they figured it out when they were four or so.
Don't know why, but I hated candy land. I could play every other stupid kids game with them, but candy land was a race to get done as fast as possible.

    Here's my impersonation of Dar.

It has the nose of an eviscerated tauntaun, but maybe a little more...clove. Tastes as if you licked a wet moose after the rut, with a hint of mango.

Actually, I can't taste much of anything after the coffee beer, but I'm still awake, and beer must be drunk. :)

Just now getting to that one? Don't ask @disturbdchemist to opine. I don't think he cared for the bee balm....or Jester King. ;)

Yeah, I'm slowly making progress on the cellar. It's definitely an odd flavored beer. Not bad, but not good either.

I'd drink more JK if DC would just suck it up and stand in line like all the hipsters do. :D

Having a HB mosaic iPa while making a yeast starter. Have any of you fine folks had the privilege on enjoying a hill farmstead Arthur? Wondering what the hop profile was like. Can't seem to find it online. I was guessing citra from what I read online.

I love my helmet. Bought it last year right before I broke my ankle (last AUG). Finally got to use it for the first time yesterday. So incredibly nice to be back on two wheels.

Can't wait to try round#2 (the ohter 5gal) of the blonde, which will be ready in a few weeks - currently sitting on 2kg of mango.

SF848 is the best bike on the road today. That's my completely objective, unbiased opinion.

I'm slightly sauced. Off to bed, and keep reading With The Old Breed

I've seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail so many times I could recite 99% of it from memory. Although maybe not in order.
