I'll try as hard as I can to keep the empties for the group photo. I already save bottles anyway.

 

I guess after a quick googlerring it's not a stout glass. Seems they are more often like the IPA glasses, which I find weird. Just curious. Was given a big box of very strange and wonderful glassware that is very old. Maybe I'll post a pic some day if there's interest. The only ones I recognize are the old sundae "glasses" my grandmother used to give me ice cream in.

 

They are the generic ones, the kind that leave that greasy feeling in your mouth. they deserved it.

A few pints of Bitter, a last tester of my Oat Mild (bottled) prior to shipping off to NHC, and now a tester of my Witbier for the same. I'm wondering if this isn't already a little too old (brewed last week of December), and if I shouldn't swap it out for something else. Tastes good now, now sure how it'll fair come judging time. I'll definitely have to rebrew it though.

Or maybe FK is just an older version of 4 gallon jugs, after gravity and age have done their damage...

Sours are a go. I had a lambic I didn't hate once. Might be time to go again.

I do love a nice saison. Even a bad one is okay.

 

Holeeee crap. I step away from HBT for less than an hour and you all ran through 20000 in no time at all. I came back at like 20040. That was crazy. Congrats '77!.

This work day has been a crap show. Not worse than some have had today but I have only been here 4 hours and have been ready to go home since I got here.

Another cherry wheat after a run to get medicine and ginger ale for daughter. At least the one store was out of regular ginger ale so I conveniently had to run to the beer store.

The pic you had was a tulip stemmed glass. Good for Belgian styles and can also be good for darker beers and lower carbonation varieties. Ipa from tulips not so much

This has been the best beer day of my life, I think I'll cap it by not drinking any tonight, and bottling my RIS.
