If I'm ever near you, we're meeting at that magical restaurant you seem to eat at three times a week.

Woo Pig Sooie! Valiant effort Fins. I didn't realize K-State had gone through 5 QB's this year. That's crazy. If they can keep everyone healthy they will be difficult to beat next year.
Eating more food and drinking more water. Starting to feel a little better. I may try and have a beer when I get home.

All the time. Ever want to send your taste buds on an acid trip? Use a french press with a teensy bit of dark roast with a SNPA.

I have a Stone Delicious and some light home roast. I've never had Delicious, should I go ahead and ruin it?

We are young and the qb situation didnt help. Our starting qb tonight was a wr. Still though, if our defense could have stopped eddie lacy it we would have had a shot to keep it close. Good game for you guys! Ill get that box to you in the next couple weeks. Got a couple boxes waiting to get out but will get you yours asap. Cheers man!

    The grocery store.

Sweetened coconut does wonderful things in a Randall. Toast it a little first.

Yep. You can use a French press and add whatever you want - fruit, herbs, coffee, chilies, etc. there was some good Randall action happening on the big box of yum thread on here. It has died down a bit though.

I'm making saison jelly right now. Fingers crossed.

No worries man take your time. Collins had a big game because your defense was giving our QB fits. I think he spent more time on his back tonight than he did all season.

I think we should change the name to "A thread about nothing"
That should please all you Seinfeld fans.

    There is no topic here.

Having a porter after a craptastic day, I do hope this doesn't set the tone for the year and I feel like I could be coming down with something, I hope not!

So yeah, I'm doing this thang. Cracked about 30 grams of home roast with a mallet. Poured about 3/4ths of the Double stout on that. Drank the other 1/4 since its new to me.

I'm assuming I'll just let this warm until dinner. Unless I'm wrong and I drink it sooner.

An actual kitchen mallet. Also, I'm not uproariously hilarious.

Poured a shot. Getting the coffee already. This is going to happen a lot.

Is it a bomber or standard? If it's a bomber it can be had both as a 12oz randall and a 12 Oz standard

Oh I'll have another Rasputin while I wait. That's the glory of having a wife bed ridden. She don't know what's going on in here. Not that I wish pneumonia on anyone.

Well I'll have to consider this next time I'm in the store.

Though your dark roast suggestion hurts my soul a little. I'll just Randall some hickory ash from the smoker box.

That sounds really "interesting" Don't knock it till you try it sort of thing. I've got a french press. i wonder would it work with my IPA. It's very APA like. (except for the cloudiness)

So I add ingredient X and pour beer into the french press and work the press in the usual way? Self reporting for a technical post in an off-topic thread.

Dang...now I'm going to have to buy a french press. Last one broke and didn't replace it. Might have a travel mug with a press in it. I'll rummage through try he cabinets later. (Took some meds for my back, so no alcohol for me right now.)

With an ipa, try it with coffee, but your best bet would be mango or pineapple with an ipa.

    Thanks Duffman

Appreciate the advice. You seem to be the resident guru for all things randall related.

Something I now know zero about.

    Cheers mate.

Collins had a huge game. Just glad my bro scored twice (Dimel).

Drinking an americano from the bucks before headed to dinner. Hard liquor to follow.

Pretty much. The longer you let it sit, the stronger the flavor. Then plunge and enjoy.

Pro tip: add only half to 2/3 of the beer to the Randall then top up your glass. You can lose a lot of carbonation with the Randall, so that helps preserve some.

Still drinking Sculpin. Still overachieving with the Lions on PS4.

Took the family to see the Globetrotters this afternoon. Anyone been to see them lately?
