Seriously though, I really want the same general feel here as we had in what I considered "our" thread. It was open, accommodating, and it featured some of the finest counter surfaces I've ever seen.

Another bomber of mild is about to die. I'm too drunk not to drink.

    Figure that out.

Wife is telling me we need to replace the counter tops with stone when I tile the floor and back splash this Spring.

Do it. Tile the counters with matching grout. It's a nice clean cheap look.

I'm the son of a cabinet guy. I'm loving the new focus n countertop material, even if it's a joke.

Our kitchen is the same tile on the counter and floor but in different dimensions (12x12 on the counters and 18x18 on the floors). It really ties the room together, man.

    I'm thinking soapstone or quartz.

Although I saw there is a composite that is made with old beer bottles.

White subway tile with dark grey grout on back splash. Floor will be wood grain barn floor 6 by 24 tiles.

Thinking the cabinets might need to be replaced on the bottom due to the previous owner's obsession with glue and fasteners.

But man, those floors and back splash are going to look good.

You folks were busy last night. So much counter top porn to wank it to...I mean wait a minute.

Nos Zero. Almost all the energy, none of the calories, three times the carcinogens.

Gym in about 20. Then brewing again. Then I suppose I should put some bigger guns in the fridge for tonight. Happy New Years, floccers.

I haven't decided on that one yet; I almost want to keep it to myself, it's really good. If I take it out, everyone will want to try it despite being available local and it will go to waste. The Tank 7 is my midnight champagne for the evening, if I can wait that long.

Technically, yes. Once all the engineers leave at noon, there's not much left for me. I'll chill and answer questions until the sales people calm their nuts, then i'll leave.

So. Got quoted in another thread I may have posted in once before, go to see what's going on and am assaulted by a shirtless Billy-klub. It's been a rough morning.
