    Yes, you could. There's people (mainly Aussies) that have been doing BIAB -> no chill overnight in the kettle -> ferment for years. Conical would be nicer to avoid siphons and dump trub, sure.

    Cool. I assume that since it's stainless steel it should be able to withstand the temperatures. And at around $600 total, it's less than half the price of a brewha system. Hopefully the only issue is potentially voiding the warranty.

    Also if you're on a budget look on eBay at the 12.5gal American Homebrewing conicals. Augie has a thread about 'em and I bought two after seeing it. Both of us have good welds and experiences. Cheapest conical out there I believe and they're quality.
