Will 220v 50hz Chinese pump motor work on US 220v 60hz?

Pretty sure it will (full disclosure...I'm not an electrical engineer) work, but the motor will turn at a slightly lower speed (lower RPM).

Does that also mean it is more likely to burn out faster?

possibly. it depends on the driven load and how many amps are pulled.

It depends of motor type. For some of tem rtation is independent of the frequency of the AC voltage

There are many of them. For example Universal AC-DC motor (brashed motor with electromagnetic stato)

I'm actually wondering about a refrig compressor and a chugger pump. The pumps just say 220v 50hz and compressor says 220-240v 50hz 1phase.

Don't know about the chugger but I had a couple customers run 50 hz refrigerators on 60 hz, they both lasted about 11 months before they fried.
