146.6 mash to low

    Aiming for 150 but got 146.6 think it will be ok?

    It may finish a little drier, but is still perfectly fermentable. Some have said you can mash as low as 142*, however I have not done so.

    What style are we talking about? If it's a high gravity with more unfermentables beer 147 might be just fine. If were talking a bud light clone it's gonna be pretty dry. IBU's?

    It's a black IPA with 1oz Columbus as bittering

    Funny. My wife's name is Kaitlin - but, if I type her name into my android phone it defaults to "Laura". Talk about your phone getting you in trouble :cross:

    Big IPA. . . you're probably fine. Good luck sexing your AG :ban:
